Paperback!

Hi pals! A short email this week. I’m in the flow of my third book and really excited to get to the end of this draft in a couple of months. Publication is a way off, at the beginning of 2027, but because of the way the scheduling works it’ll be in almost-finished shape by the end of this year, at which point I can start writing and talking about it more explicitly. However! For now it is sort of secret, and in more immediate and exciting news, the paperback of my second novel, The Orange Room, is coming out this week. You will most likely not be aware of this fact because the publicity hasn’t exactly been ferocious. But, if you read these emails weekly and you enjoy them then I’d absolutely love it if you bought a copy of the book, for yourself or for a friend, and maybe even gave it a nice review. I have to say it looks very, very nice, is almost half the price of the paperback and actually has my acknowledgements printed in it this time around. Here is a link to buy it from Waterstones or you can go to your local bookshop and, if they don’t stock it and my other books, act like you are very surprised (they should order it in for the next day).
